Leadership Lessons From Nehemiah – Chapter 11

Ø Sometimes the leader must stay in the dirty places where others only visit
Ø Recognize those who are heavily involved, who sacrifice, and who get dirty
Ø Keep a roll, keep track, know the numbers
Ø Have people who serve and guard the staff
Ø As the movement/group grows and more leaders arise, the main leader must give up more recognition and responsibility or the growth will be stunted
o Nehemiah’s name isn’t even mentioned in the whole chapter
