Help Me Develope A Message To Promote My Book (part 1)

In case you don’t know, my original intent when starting this blog was to promote and create discussion around my book. Repentance and Recovery was a manuscript that came as the result of some events that happened to me which I have shared on here before (you can read about them by clicking here). As things in life changed, mostly my accepting the call to start a church, the focus of this blog has shifted.
Up to this point the only thing I have done on here relating to the book is copy and paste samples of chapters. This has been quite ineffective as those entries have provided absolutely no feedback or comments. The book will be out this summer though online and in select Christian bookstores and I plan to promote the book by doing several speaking engagements. In planning for these engagements I am putting together a message based on the big themes of the book.
All that to say that I intent to take the next two weeks of posts on this blog and discuss a few of the ideas from the book. Each of the entries will pose a question or a thought and I hope many of you will share your comments or follow up thoughts that I could draw from when preparing my “buy my book message.” And with no shame to bribe you for comments, everyone who leaves a comment on this or any of the five following posts will be entered into a drawing for a free copy of the book.
