My Book

Since the launch of this blog I have received many questions about my book that is mentioned in my bio, so here are some points about the book:
Ø The book is entitled Repentance and Recovery
Ø It is the story of as well as principles I learned from the situation of loosing my ministry over a moral mistake.
Ø It is currently only a manuscript as I seek to sell its rights to a publisher.
Ø I began gathering materials for it the week of my resignation in August, ’07 and finished editing it early this year.
Ø The only people who have read it are my editor and me. I am not sending out samples to everyone who asks but I will be blogging on excerpts from it.
Ø I had another Christian writer advise me against hiring an agent off the bat and rather to try and reach publishers on my own.
Ø I refuse to self-publish.
Ø Writing it while I was in the situation and feeling the emotions was great therapy.
Ø I site everything from dead, conservative preachers to modern pop song lyrics.
Ø The big idea of the book is: don’t blow it, but if you do, you can make it back.

Great answers to probably the FAQ’s. I self published a book I wrote. No regrets because I would not consider it very well done. I am not convinced that it would have made the best seller’s list had Zondervan got a hold of it. haha. I hope that someone picks it up soon!
